Portraits of persons are closely linked to their surroundings, which are often humorously or surrealistically intensified.

Surprising pictures are created in which I use various light sources and fitting accessories and challenge the persons by means of over-the-top dramatization. Many photos are reminiscent of film sets, although the ideas were always created spontaneously and on location.

I esteem and respect people; however, I try to use a humorous style to make a true, but still not entirely serious picture of them.
